We realize that everyone needs money to put food on their table, yet we also believe there is more to life than simply earning a living. But – even though it is undoubtedly the most advanced and effective form of trading – we emphasize that we can’t guarantee your algorithm trading will be profitable 100% of the time. In some circumstances, you may incur considerable losses.

We therefore urge you never to invest money you cannot afford to lose, and to follow these other tips:

1. Always be responsible: remember that it’s more important to control your risks than to make profits.
2. Trading is a profession, not a hobby, entertainment or form of gambling.
3. Consistent profit making is more important than one big win.
4. Understand the subject: learn before you earn.
5. If you lose, always ask yourself why; seek to learn new lessons from every experience.
6. Always choose the best trading platform, in terms of its stability, cost and technology, and the best market/s in terms of spread, liquidity and trading hours.
7. Never lose more than 5% of your capital on a single trade.
8. Never use more than 5% of your investment capital for speculation.
