1. An Entertaining Game to be Played on Trains

Do you like the game "Draw Something"? It’s a fun drawing and guessing game. Most people can’t produce good pictures and that’s why the game is so entertaining. Now we’ve created "LEARN Something" in a helpful Chinese-learning version and made the puzzles more extensive (picture + motion + audio).

Subtitled (English)

Each station name consists of two or three Chinese characters and we can learn Chinese words from each character.

If you’re not patient enough to wait for your friend’s weird pictures or if you’re looking for a more brain-stimulating challenge, you must try out this game!

2. Lively Learning Material for

non-Chinese Speakers

Have you ever been to Hong Kong? The Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is the most convenient means of transportation. As in July 2013 there were 84 train stations serving Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, covering all major business and residential areas.

Subtitled (English)

While you ride on the MTR, why not seize the chance to learn some interesting Chinese characters?

The name of each station consists of just two or three Chinese characters. In this app, we use each character to help you learn a useful word. For example, Shek Mun (石門) is a station that has two characters. Shek (石) means rock and with the addition of another character Che (磁) we can create a new word Che Shek (磁石) meaning magnet. Similarly, Mun (門) means door. We can thus learn another word (門鎖) that means door lock.

3. Teaching Material for Parents

Diligent parents always take good care of their children and use every opportunity to teach them useful things. We frequently see parents teaching their children relevant word while they are traveling on the MTR.

Subtitled (English)

For example, if a family passes through ‘Tai Po Market’ station (大埔墟), the parents may say, “A market (墟) is a place for buying and selling things…”

We created images and audio so that children can learn something easier with both left brain (language) and right brain (art awareness).

Well, if you have an app to teach children such useful word, won’t life and your journey be more interesting and full of fun?
